| Summary, etc. | Purpose : to evaluate rhe alliance and therapeutic observance in antipsychotic patients at the CNHU-HKM of Cotonou. Method : it was an analytical cross-sectional study concerning the new patients of 2013 of the psychiatric department of the CNHU-HKM of Cotonou, contacted for an investigation from August 15th to October 15th, 2014. Results : The peak of new cases (12.1%) was reached in June. 100% of patients had benefited from psychotherapy. 82.6 % of patients’ files contained a phone number. 90.6% of patients said they were satisfied with rheir psychiatric follow-up. 58.9% of patients reported experiencing psychiatry before their illness. 48.5% oi patients arc non-com- pliant with treatment. 52,0 % of inobservants stopped their medicinal treatment between 1 and 3 months. The feeling to be cured was the main reason of the stop of the treatment (59.2%). Attendance by traditional therapists and prayer centers accounted for 18.4% of non-observers. Conclusion : Today, psychiatry is more widely known and accepted among the Beninese population, but much remains to be done, lwcau.se even being in psychiatry, patients continue to look and find other places of care (traditional care and / or religious care). |

| Summary, etc. | But : évaluer l’alliance et l’observance thérapeutique chez, les patients sous Antipsychotiques au CNHU-HKM de Cotonou. Cadre et méthode : il s’est agi d’une étude transversale analytique portant sur les nouveaux patients de 2013 du service de Psychiatrie du CNHU-HKM de Cotonou, contactés pour une enquête du 15 août au 15 octobre 2014. Résultats : le pic des nouveaux cas (12.1 %) avait été atteint en juin. 100% des parents avaient bénéficié d’une psychothérapie. 82,6% des dossiers de patients comportaient un numéro de téléphone. 90,6% des patients ont dit avoir été satisfait par leur suivi en psychiatrie. 58,9% des patients ont dit avoir connu l’existence du service de psychiatrie avant leur maladie. 48,5% des patients sont inobservants au traitement. 52,0% des inobservants ont arrêté leur traitement entre 1 et 3 mois. Le sentiment d’être guéri a été la principale raison de l’inobservance (59.2%). La fréquentation des tradithérapeutes et les centres de prière a représenté 18,4% des inobservants. Conclusion : aujourd’hui, la psychiatrie est d avantage connue et acceptée dans la population béninoise. Néanmoins, des efforts restent à faire puisque les patients même étant en psychiatrie, continuent par chercher et trouvent d’autres lieux de soins (soins traditionnels ct/ou religieux). |
