| Summary, etc. | En second commentaire des thèses publiées en 1984 avec André Gounelle, François Vouga propose d’affiner, avec le recul, l’emploi des deux termes d’ autorité et d’ Écriture. Constatant tout d’abord que l’autorité n’existe qu’au moment où elle est reconnue, il souligne que c’est la lecture et le compagnonnage avec l’Écriture qui confère à celle-ci son autorité. Il met en évidence que cette reconnaissance de l’autorité de l’Écriture est solidaire d’un pacte de l’imagination ou d’un pacte de la fiction reconnaissant autorité aux événements dont témoigne ou que déploie l’art littéraire de ses écrits. Un second volet part de l’emploi que les évangiles et les épîtres font du terme d’Écriture. L’Écriture reçoit son sens, son unité et sa cohérence à partir de clés de lecture qui lui sont extérieures et c’est la constitution des différents canons qui donne une valeur universelle d’Écriture à la création personnelle d’œuvres poétiques, artistiques ou littéraires que sont les évangiles ou les épîtres. |
