| Summary, etc. | De février à novembre 2008, nous avons, réalisé au service d’Hygiène Mentale (SHM) d’Abidjan, une étude transversale à visée descriptive qui avait pour objectif d’apprécier les performances scolaires des élèves présentant des troubles mentaux sous psychotropes. Les résultats en classe étaient mauvais dans 96,30% des cas avec un taux d’échec de 100% aux examens de fin d’année (Baccalauréat et Brevet d’étude du premier cycle) avant la prise en charge au SHM. Au décours du suivi au SHM, on observait une amélioration des performances scolaires avec des résultats de classe qui devenaient bons dans 64,81 % des cas et 55,60% d’admis aux examens de fin d’année. On constatait également une amélioration des résultats scolaires en relation avec la durée de la prise en charge au SHM . |

| Summary, etc. | From February to November 2008, we realized with the Division of Mental Hygiene (DMH)- Abidjan, a descriptive cross-sectional study that aimed to assess the school performances of schoolboys who suffered from mental disorders and treated with psychotropic in 96,3% of the cases. The school results were bad before the management of the DMH. We also found that 100 % of the patients failed their final exam (bachelor and first level certificate). After the follow-up, we observed an improvement of their school performances in their classes (64, 81%) 55, 60. % passed their final exams. We notified an improvement of the school performances in relation with the length of the DMH management. |
