| Summary, etc. | Objectifs : analyser la prise en charge par des antipsychotiques ; évaluer l’influence de l’interaction nicotine-caféine sur la survenue des effets indésirables neurologiques des antipsychotiques ; déterminer les facteurs associés à la survenue de ces effets indésirables neurologiques. Cadre et méthode : il s’est agi d’une étude transversale analytique portant sur 45 patients hospitalisés à Courbet-USR du 1er février au 31 mars 2013. Résultats : la monothérapie, la bithérapie et la trithérapie antipsychotique ont représenté respectivement 40% ; 53,3% ; 6,7% des cas. 53,3% des patients ont présenté des effets indésirables neurologiques des antipsychotiques. 57,8% des patients sont des consommateurs de café et 68,9% sont des fumeurs. 51,1% consomment à la fois le café et le tabac ; 24,4% ne consomment ni le café ni le tabac. Les effets indésirables neurologiques des antipsychotiques ont été plus observés chez les patients consommateurs de café et chez ceux qui associent café et tabac mais cette augmentation n’a pas été significative du point de vue statistique. D’autres études plus larges devraient être faites dans le même sens. Les doses d’antipsychotiques supérieures ou égales à 2 fois la dose moyenne recommandée par le vidal ont eu une incidence très significative sur la survenue des effets indésirables neurologiques chez nos patients. |

Results : monotherapy, combination therapy by using 2 antipsychotics and combination therapy by using 3 antipsychotics represented respectively 40%, 53.3%, 6.7% of cases. 53.3% of patients had neurological side effects of antipsychotics. 57.8% of patients are coffee drinkers and 68.9% are smokers. 51.1% use both coffee and tobacco, 24.4% do not consume coffee or tobacco. Neurological side effects of antipsychotics were more observed in coffee drinkers and those who combine coffee and tobacco, but this increase was not statistically significant Other studies should be made. Antipsychotics doses greater than or equal to 2 times the average dose recommended by vidal had a very significant impact on the occurrence of neurological side effects. |
