| Summary, etc. | L’intérêt des sources du for privé pour appréhender tout ce qui a trait à l’intime est désormais bien connu. Les archives départementales de la Somme et de la Marne recèlent une vaste correspondance qui concerne deux familles de la noblesse : les Estourmel et les Beauclerc de la Myre Mory à la fin du xviiie et au début du xixe siècle.J’ai choisi de présenter un échantillon de lettres des deux principaux scripteurs, Auguste d’Estourmel et Charles de Beauclerc, qui sont aussi des amis intimes. Parmi les nombreux thèmes qu’ils abordent, j’ai retenu celui de la famille : Charles, séparé d’Auguste par les événements de la Révolution, le tient informé par le menu de tout ce qui a trait à sa vie familiale, aussi bien ses relations avec son épouse Antoinette que la santé et l’éducation de ses trois enfants. De ces lettres, transparaît le modèle d’un couple uni, tout occupé du bien être et du bonheur des enfants. |

| Summary, etc. | A United Family in the xviiith Century : the Beauclerc de la Myre MoryThe interest of private written sources to understand all that has to do with the intimate sphere is now well accepted. The records of the Somme and Marne Departments keeps an extended correspondence involving two aristocratic families : the Estourmel and the Beauclerc de la Myre Mory at the end of the xviiith Century and at the beginning of the xixth.I chose to introduce a sample of the letters written by the two most frequent writers, Auguste d’Estournel and Charles de Beauclerc, who are also close friends. Among the many issues they write about, I selected that of the family : Charles, separated from Auguste by the events of the Revolution, keeps him informed in detail of everything that concerns the life of his family, from his relationship with his wife, Antoinette, to the health and education of his three children. In these letters is delineated the model of a united couple, thoroughly dedicated to the well-being and happiness of their children. |
