| Summary, etc. | L’article revient sur un outil créé sur le terrain dans le cadre d’une recherche doctorale menée auprès de personnes en situation de vulnérabilité, à savoir des personnes exilées et des personnes en situation de handicap accueillies dans des dispositifs d’accueil et établissements et services médico-sociaux. Le memory géographique s’inspire du jeu simple qui consiste à retrouver à tour de rôle des paires (deux mêmes images). Le jeu qui repose sur la photo elicitation à partir de clichés pris sur le terrain (commerces, lieux publics, infrastructures de loisirs, sites touristiques remarquables) permet de faire parler les enquêté-es de et sur leurs pratiques spatiales et ainsi interroger leur espace vécu. Grâce au climat de confiance qu’il instaure, l’outil donne accès aux connaissances que les personnes ont du territoire et aux émotions associées à certains lieux. Assorti à une pratique immersive du terrain et à des méthodes ethnographiques plus classiques, il facilite l’élaboration d’un lien horizontal avec les personnes et permet de décaler les cadres spatiaux et temporels de vies rythmées par les institutions. |

| Summary, etc. | The article discusses a tool created in the field as part of a doctoral research conducted with vulnerable individuals, specifically exiled persons and people with disabilities housed in reception facilities and socio-medical establishments and services. The geographical memory tool is inspired by a simple game that involves collecting most pairs of cards (two identical images). This game, which is based on photo elicitation from pictures taken in the field (shops, public places, recreational facilities, notable tourist sites), allows interviewees to discuss their spatial practices and thus interrogate their lived space. Thanks to the climate of trust it establishes, the tool provides access to the knowledge that individuals have of their territory and the emotions associated with certain places. Coupled with an immersive field practice and more traditional ethnographic methods, it facilitates the development of a horizontal relationship with individuals and allows for a shift in the spatial and temporal frameworks of lives often regulated by institutions. |
