520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The children of immigrant parents, with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, account for an increasing proportion of the active child psychiatric patient list. The complex nature of the developmental context leads us to question patient care modalities and services, including the relevance of diagnostic tools. Thanks to a budget line allocated to interpreting services, the mental health center of Eysines, near Bordeaux, was able to test a new framework dedicated to the exploration of bilingualism. This article presents its methodology, the preliminary results, and the impact on the quality of patient care. Since the main reason for referral to child psychiatric services is learning difficulties at school, the stakes are particularly critical.
