Summary, etc. It seems that there is no place for the philosophical doctrine born of the Copernican revolution in politics. Indeed, neither of the two parts of the philosophical system—nature and freedom—alone can give a satisfactory account of politics. However, it can be argued that by reflecting on this difficulty one may detect the originality of Kant’s approach to politics. In doing so, one can also recognize a stylistic rapprochement between Kant and the philosophers of German Idealism. In both cases, the intelligibility of the present moment provides a mediation between normativity and experience.
