| Summary, etc. | La nature potentiellement dotée de la personnalité juridique, de préférence sous forme d’une personne morale de droit privé, doit être représentée. Deux volets de la représentation sont explorés dans ce contexte. D’abord au regard des techniques juridiques permettant de mettre en place un organe susceptible d’exprimer la volonté de cette « personne écologique ». Les solutions du droit positif sont décevantes et des pistes plus pertinentes doivent être esquissées. Ensuite quant à la manière de faire valoir l’intérêt politique de la « personne écologique » dans notre société. L’augmentation de la représentativité accordée aux intérêts de la nature s’inscrit dans une évolution millénaire émancipatrice des forces sociales ; ce que la présente contribution met en évidence à travers une étude des mécanismes directs et indirects de participation politique. |

| Summary, etc. | Nature which could potentially be endowed with legal personality, preferably in the form of a private legal entity, must be represented. Two aspects of representation are explored in this context. First, with regard to the legal techniques allowing to establish an entity with the ability to express the desires of said “ecological person”. Positive law solutions are disappointing, and more relevant routes must be determined. Second, with regard to the means of advocating for the political interests of said “ecological person” in our society. The increase in representativeness granted to nature’s interests comes as part of a millennialong emancipatory evolution of social forces, which this contribution highlights by studying direct and indirect political participation mechanisms. |
