| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | Context and issues : Models of supervision in clinical settings have evolved, with the current focus on the student. At the heart of supervision, psycho-social interactions are a major factor in facilitating and enhancing learning. Analysis : The authors define the theoretical framework of culture before going on to explain the various socio-cultural influences and psycho-social theories involved in clinical supervision. Conclusion : In a French-speaking context embedded in intercultural interactions between trainers and supervisees, the search for a better understanding of these issues will ultimately help to develop the cultural competence of the various players − institutions, trainers and learners. |
