| Summary, etc. | La présente étude vise à appréhender la perception que les habitants des quartiers précaires d’Abidjan ont des risques multiples liés à leur cadre de vie sous l’angle des croyances qu’ils développent et de leur statut sociogéographique. Cette recherche repose sur deux hypothèses soumises à l’épreuve des faits. Les informations sont recueillies auprès de 120 chefs de familles vivant dans des quartiers précaires, âgés de 45 à 50 ans et totalisant une ancienneté d’au moins 2 ans sur le site. Les résultats obtenus sur la base du khi carré de Pearson permettent d’affirmer qu’il existe une relation entre les croyances, l’immigration et la perception des risques par les habitants des quartiers précaires. Les résultats de cette enquête montrent que l’explication des comportements à risque doit prendre en compte les croyances et le statut des personnes impliquées. |

| Summary, etc. | This study amis to understand the perception that people in poor neighborhoods of Abidjan have multiple risks related to their living environment in terms of beliefs they develop and their status sociogeographic. This research is based on two assumptions that are subject to the test of facts. The information are collected from 120 heads of families living in shantytowns, aged 45 to 50 years and a total length of at least 2 years on the site. The results based on the Pearson chi-square can be concluded that there is a relationship between beliefs, immigration and risk perception by residents of poor neighborhoods. The results of this survey show that the explanation of risk behavior must take into account the beliefs and the status of those involved. |
