520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Thomas Aquinas and David of Dinant shared the same Aristotelian notions of prime matter and of God, but they developed two opposing interpretations of prime matter’s relation to God, and integrated these understandings into two opposing metaphysical systems. From the theological point of view, we can see that Aristotle’s explanation of human knowledge of prime matter has been taken as a model by Thomas for explaining God’s knowledge of it.
