Certains mécanismes favorisent la montée des tensions en ligne : surcharge informationnelle, transformation des débats en affrontements polarisés, influence des algorithmes dans la radicalisation des échanges, défiance croissante envers les institutions. Les logiques d’engagement, de retrait ou d’autocensure recomposent des formes de participation en ligne et la conflictualité tend à devenir un mode ordinaire d’interaction. |

| Summary, etc. | This article analyzes the dynamics of conflictuality structuring controversies on social media during the Covid-19 crisis. A number of mechanisms are contributing to the rise in tensions online: information overload, the transformation of debates into polarized confrontations, the influence of algorithms in radicalizing exchanges, and growing distrust of institutions. Logics of engagement, withdrawal, or self-censorship are restructuring forms of online participation, and conflictuality is becoming an ordinary mode of interaction. |
