Summary, etc. | The coronavirus pandemic took almost everyone by surprise, governments first of all, and several decisions were taken by heads of state to limit the damage done, above all to the population, and then to the economy. Beyond the economic and financial consequences, at the heart of this pandemic is humanity’s inability to find a medical cure; this reveals a deep crisis of knowledge, including in those countries that lead the knowledge economy. Faced with the market’s inability to provide a response, institutional measures have made it possible to contain the effects of the pandemic. This paper will show, first, that most of the measures come from the knowledge economy, and, second, how the evolutionist foundations of this economy have been shaken by the practices deployed. Rich examples drawn from observations of reality will provide empirical evidence and reinforce the idea of the COVID-19 crisis as a source of opportunities. |
