Summary, etc. Soft tissue tumors of the foot are rare and characterized by their slow and asymptomatic progression, which delays the patient’s consultation. The authors report an exceptional case of hallux lipoma with irradiation in the first intercommissural space. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the technique of choice for investigating soft tissue tumors. Surgical treatment allowed for a definitive histological diagnosis and enabled normal, painless shoe wear. Despite its unusual location in the hallux, lipoma should be considered as a differential diagnosis for benign foot tumors.
