| Summary, etc. | À partir d’une analyse de deux corpus – les psaumes 42-43 et une lecture collective de Rm 5,2b-5 par des personnes en situation de précarité –, cet article interroge l’expérience de l’espérance lorsqu’elle est vécue « depuis le fond du fond ». Loin d’être une abstraction ou une vertu purement eschatologique, espérer s’y dévoile comme un combat intérieur, un effort de résistance, une expérience affective traversée par les pleurs, les questions, les éclipses mais aussi les sursauts de foi. L’écoute des très-pauvres met en lumière une théologie pascale de l’espérance, processuelle et précaire, nourrie de la présence fidèle de Dieu dans l’épreuve et d’une fierté de croire, même au cœur du désespoir. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on an analysis of two corpora – Psalms 42–43 and a collective reading of Romans 5,2b-5 by people experiencing poverty – this article explores the experience of hope when it is lived “from the depths of the depths.” Far from being an abstraction or a purely eschatological virtue, hope is revealed here as an inner struggle, an act of resistance, an emotional experience marked by tears, questions, eclipses, but also surges of faith. Listening to the very poor sheds light on a paschal theology of hope: processual and fragile, nourished by the faithful presence of God in the midst of trial and by a proud act of believing, even in the heart of despair. |
