| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | Faced with a teenager who uses cannabis, we want to understand whether parental reaction can fall within a process leading to the break or in contrary reinforce this use. Besides interviews, we carried out this work through three questionnaires. The first one evaluates the perception of the child’s attachment quality in relation to his parents and friends. The second one shows the child’s perception of education style of parents. The third one studies the seriousness degree of cannabis use. Our analyses with the attachment theory show that the son’s deviant behavior is a reaction against the lack of social and emotional relationships between parents and teenager, especially between his father and him. So that teenager can fully give up, his father should recognize him as a person who, in addition to cognitive needs, has social, emotional and ideological needs as well. |
