| Summary, etc. | notre étude teste les effets d’un entrainemtnt à l’imitation sur le développement des compétences communicatives chez les enfants avec trouble du spectre autistique. Nous avons sélectionné un groupe composé de 21 enfants avec autisme, âgés entre 4 et 9 ans, et diagnostiqués selon les critères de la CIM-10. de l’ADOS et de l’ADI-R. Nous avons suivi une procédure en trois temps : évaluation du niveau d’imitation à l’aide de l’échelle d’imitation de Nadel, du niveau de communication au moyen du PEP-3, ainsi que du degré de sévérité de l autisme; entrainement à l’imitation à l’aide d’un protocole basé sur le développement de l’imitation chez les enfants tout-venant ; et en fin, réévaluation du niveau d’imitation, de communication et de l’intensité de u trouble après les séances d’entrainement. La comparaison des scotes avant et après l’intervention, indique une progression significative du niveau de l’imitation et de la communication des enfants, ainsi qu’une diminution du degré de sévérité de l’autisme. |

| Summary, etc. | our study tests the effects of training to imitation on the development of communicative skills of children with autism spectrun disorder. We selected a group of 21 children with autism, aged between 4 and 9 years, and diagnosed by the criterions of ICD-10, ADOS and ADI-R We followed a three-step procedure : assess the level of communication with the PEP-3 ; and the level of imitation using the scale of imitation of Nadel ; to train cach child at imitation using a protocol based on the development of imitation for typical children ; and finally, we revalue the communication and imitation level’s after imitation sessions. The Before-After comparison of scores shows a significant increase in the level of imitation and communication of children with autism after training. |
