| Summary, etc. | La Thérapie de Morita qui a été inspirée par le bouddhisme, et surtout par le Zen, est une psychothérapie typiquement japonaise dont l’essence consiste, de même que le Zen, à poursuivre « le vrai soi ». Le « vrai soi » est un « esprit pur » (selon l’expression de Morita lui-même) qui suit aussi bien la nature extérieure que la nature intérieure. La Thérapie de Morita est donc non pas une « science naturelle » de l’esprit humain traitant celui-ci comme un objet figé mais la science de la « nature de l’esprit humain » qui est mouvant. Le bouddhisme se divise en deux courants, Mahayana et Théravada, tous deux contenus dans le Zen. La discipline du Zen consiste en la fusion complémentaire de ces deux voies et à travers l’expérience de l’entraînement zen ou de la Thérapie de Morita, on parvient à atteindre « le vrai soi ». Comme exemple symbolique de ce processus, nous avons présenté les Dix images de bœuf. |

| Summary, etc. | Morita therapy, inspired by Buddhism, especially by Zen, is a typical Japanese psychopherapy, the essence of which is to pursue “the true self ”as Zen does. “The true self ”is just the self with the “ pure mind” (by Morita’s own words),which accords with the nature both outside and inside oneself. Morita therapy is, therefore, not “natural science”dealing with human mind as fixed object, but the science of “the nature of human mind”,which is fluid. There are two currents in Buddhism, Mahayana and Theravada. Zen contains both elements. The dicipline of Zen consists in the complementary fusion of their ways of ’experience’, through which the experience of Zen training or Morita therapy attains “the true self”. As a symbolic example of this process,“The Ten Ox-herdig Pictures”of Zen was presented. |
