| Summary, etc. | La télévision constitue à l’heure actuelle un élément principal de l’environnement culturel dans lequel la plupart des enfants grandissent et se forment aujourd’hui. Il est incontestable que les jeunes, vulnérables par principe, construisent leur comportement par identification et imitation. Toutefois, il ne suffit pas de voir des images pour reproduire un acte de façon identique. Il faut aussi adopter ces images comme modèle. Et les jeunes, traumatisés par la désorganisation du monde dans lequel ils évoluent, se tournent vers une identité collective à leur portée et qui les séduit. Les auteurs rapportent dans ce travail l’histoire de Badara dont le comportement suicidaire s’ancre dans le mimétisme d’un scénario de film qui actualise les dangers de la télévision pour les jeunes. Les ressorts de leur personnalité ne leur permettent pas toujours de gérer la violence avec le recul nécessaire. |
