520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Teaching negotiation has followed different approaches, where games and simulations are most often used as teaching methods. The practice of competitions such as “Les Négociales,” which are based on simulation performances, favors a better assessment of results and a practical vision of negotiation through professionals’ sharing their experience. However, these competitions maintain too much of a discrepancy between theory and practice. For this reason, they can be a useful tool, but only as a supplement to, and not a replacement for teaching negotiation.
