As such, their inclusion in the mainstream media, in terms of representation, production, and interpretation, speaks to their level of integration in the body politic of the country. This article takes up the most salient contemporary issues in Latino media studies and finds that there are both breakthroughs and consistencies in the inclusion of Latinos in the mainstream media. |
