520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This theoretical-clinical article proposes moving away from the usual individualistic and decontextualized understanding of hatred toward a systemic, interactional perspective within the context of high-conflict parental separation. In this context, hatred is defined as a structured emotional orientation that essentializes the other and justifies their exclusion, organized around three components: (1) stable negative attributions toward the ex-partner, (2) a sense of powerlessness to be heard or influence the relationship, and (3) a tendency toward relational elimination. We conceptualize hatred as a gradual process and illustrate the trajectory from disagreement to hatred through a clinical vignette, highlighting symmetrical escalation loops and triangulations.
