| Summary, etc. | Le déplacement massif de la communication sociale vers les plateformes numériques a fait émerger un défi inédit pour les organisations : la paracrise. Dans un environnement où chacun peut dire presque n’importe quoi sur n’importe quel acteur, la réputation se trouve exposée à une vulnérabilité permanente. Les organisations sont ainsi confrontées à des situations délicates – des paracrises – qui les obligent à réagir à des atteintes publiques à leur réputation diffusées dans l’espace en ligne. L’article propose un cadre théorique et un outil décisionnel permettant de mieux comprendre et gérer ces incidents à l’ère de l’incertitude réputationnelle. |

| Summary, etc. | The massive shift of social communication toward digital platforms has introduced a new challenge for organizations: the paracrisis. In an environment where anyone can say virtually anything about any actor, organizational reputation is exposed to a state of permanent vulnerability. Organizations are therefore confronted with delicate situations—paracrises—that compel them to respond to public reputation threats circulating in online spaces. This article offers a theoretical framework and a decision-making tool designed to improve the understanding and management of such incidents in an era of reputational uncertainty. |
