| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’association Paris Aide aux Victimes, agréée par le ministère de la Justice, s’est vue confier une mission d’accompagnement et de soutien psychologique des parties civiles des procès hors normes qui se sont déroulés à Paris. L’équipe de l’association a donc été mobilisée pour préparer le dispositif en amont de ces procès et les soutenir durant les audiences, et ce, jusqu’au prononcé de la décision. Cet accompagnement des victimes a été le fruit d’une longue expérience qui a débuté en 2002 avec le procès des attentats de juillet 1995, et qui s’est affinée à l’occasion des différents procès hors normes qui se sont déroulés à la cour d’appel de Paris. L’élaboration de ces dispositifs de soutien psychologique s’est appuyée sur la parole des victimes et la prise en compte de leurs attentes. |

| Summary, etc. | SummaryThe association Paris Aide aux Victimes, accredited by the Ministry of Justice, was entrusted with a mission to provide support and psychological assistance to the civil parties in the exceptional large-scale trials held in Paris. The association’s team was therefore mobilised to prepare the support arrangements in advance of these trials and to assist the civil parties throughout the hearings, up to and including the delivery of the judgment. This support for victims was the result of extensive experience beginning in 2002 with the trial relating to the July 1995 terrorist attacks, and further refined through the various exceptional large-scale trials conducted before the Paris Court of Appeal. The development of these psychological support arrangements was grounded in the victims’ own accounts and in careful consideration of their expectations. |
