| Summary, etc. | Cette étude examine la gestion de la crise déclenchée par l’annonce de l’arrêt du financement de l’Université de l’Ontario français au cours de l’année 2018. La méthodologie, fondée sur une approche inductive, comprend l’analyse d’articles de presse ainsi que de la transcription d’entretiens réalisés auprès de 26 personnes ayant participé à la fondation de cette université. Les résultats révèlent une crise multidimensionnelle qui a évolué dans le temps, marquée par des tensions internes et externes. Le leadership de la présidente a joué un rôle prépondérant dans la résolution de la crise. Cette étude s’inscrit dans le courant de recherches qui, au sein des études portant sur l’enseignement supérieur, s’intéressent à la gestion de crise. |

| Summary, etc. | This study examines the management of the crisis triggered by the announcement of the end of funding for the Université de l’Ontario français in 2018. The methodology, based on an inductive approach, includes the analysis of press articles as well as the transcription of interviews conducted with 26 people involved in the foundation of this university. The results reveal a multidimensional crisis that evolved over time, marked by internal and external tensions. The President’s leadership played a key role in resolving the crisis. This study is part of a research field on crisis management in higher education. |
