It highlights the key actors involved in forest governance, conflicts of use, and the geopolitical stakes of the global timber market. Through several case studies, the article examines the adaptive capacities of French forests and emphasizes the crucial importance of sustainable management based on prevention, ecosystem resilience, and collective mobilization. |
