| Summary, etc. | This study addresses a gap in the literature on post-failure resilience by exploring how entrepreneurs convert failure into learning. Drawing on sensemaking and causal attribution theory, it examines ten narratives of Moroccan entrepreneurs who successfully recovered following a total business failure. Analysis using a narrative approach and cognitive mapping shows that attribution type (internal, external, or mixed) and critical reflection are central to sensemaking, stimulating learning and fostering entrepreneurial resilience. The study proposes an integrative framework connecting failure, learning, sensemaking, and resilience, while outlining theoretical and practical implications for post-failure entrepreneurial support. |

| Summary, etc. | Cette recherche comble un gap dans la littérature sur la résilience post-échec en examinant comment les entrepreneurs transforment l’échec en apprentissage. En mobilisant la théorie du sensemaking et des attributions causales, elle analyse dix discours d’entrepreneurs marocains qui ont rebondi après un échec total. L’approche narrative et l’analyse par cartes cognitives révèlent que la nature des attributions (internes, externes ou mixtes) et la réflexion critique sont au cœur du sensemaking et engendrent l’apprentissage, favorisant ainsi la résilience entrepreneuriale post-échec. L’étude propose un cadre intégratif reliant l’échec, l’apprentissage, le sensemaking, la résilience, et met en évidence des implications théoriques et managériales pour l’accompagnement post-échec. |
