| Summary, etc. | RésuméLes familles bédouines maures de l’ouest du Sahara entretiennent une relation très étroite avec leur habitation textile emblématique. La tente abrite les membres de la famille nucléaire et est intégrée à un ensemble résidentiel plus large, le campement. Cet espace familial présente un cycle de vie calqué sur celui du couple marié et est par ailleurs soumis aux contraintes de mobilité imposées par le nomadisme. Il s’agit donc d’un espace éphémère, que la mère de famille a la responsabilité de réinventer après chaque déménagement. Enfin, l’espace intérieur exigu de la tente est dépourvu de cloisons tangibles et son occupation est régie par des normes comportementales et par un système de valeurs qui sont propres à cette société. |

| Summary, etc. | The Moorish bedouin families of the west of the Sahara experience a very close relationship with their emblematic textile dwelling. The tent shelters the members of the nuclear family and is integrated into a broader residential unit, the encampment. This family space presents a cycle of life modeled on that of the married couple and is in addition submitted to the constraints of mobility imposed by nomadism. It is in fact an ephemeral space, that the mother has the responsibility to reinvent after every removal. Lastly, the exiguous interior space of the tent is deprived of tangible partitions and its occupation is governed by behavioural standards and by a system of cultural values which are specific to this society. |

La tienda abriga a los miembros de la familia nuclear y se integra en un conjunto residencial más amplio, el campamento. Dicho espacio familial ofrece un ciclo de vida copiado del de la pajera casada y por otro lado sometido a los apremios de movilidad impuestos por el nomadismo. Se trata de un espacio efímero que la madre de familia tiene la responsabilidad de reinventar después de cada mudanza. Por fin, el exiguo espacio interior de la tienda está desprovisto de tabiques tangibles y su ocupación está gobernada por normas conductistas y por un sistema de valores propios a esta sociedad. |
