| Summary, etc. | Cette étude explore les dynamiques des identités queer dans l’espace nocturne de la médina de Larache, au Maroc. Elle montre comment les individus queer résistent aux normes sociales et spatiales dans les contextes urbains du Sud global, notamment dans les médinas marocaines, marquées par une forte densité, un contrôle social intense et des conflits d’usages. Quelles tactiques de braconnage et de camouflage permettent de s’approprier la nuit ? Comment la marche, envisagée comme acte de résistance, révèle-t-elle leur droit à la ville ? En articulant le cadre du « drame social » de Turner et les concepts de De Certeau, cette recherche met en lumière l’articulation du corps queer et de l’espace, et propose une lecture politique de la nuit comme scène de résistance. |

| Summary, etc. | This study explores the dynamics of queer identities within the nocturnal space of the medina of Larache, Morocco. It examines how queer individuals resist social and spatial norms in urban contexts of the Global South, particularly in Moroccan medinas marked by high density, intense social control, and conflicts over the use of space. What tactics of poaching and camouflage enable the appropriation of the night? How does walking, understood as an act of resistance, reveal their right to the city? By bringing together Victor Turner’s framework of “social drama” and Michel de Certeau’s concepts, this research illuminates the entanglement of the queer body and urban space and advances a political reading of the night as a scene of resistance. |
