520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. While lullabies, generally described as songs intended to soothe and lull young children to sleep, are often considered a universal practice of care, in Cambodia they take on other meanings. Cambodian lullabies are part of a cultural and transgenerational system that links the visible and invisible worlds. This research explores the cultural and family representations conveyed by these lullabies in their natural environment. Using an original methodological approach based on contextual translation, this article highlights the importance of considering the translation of parental narratives as a genuine tool for cultural interpretation, capable not only of restoring the rich symbolism of these lullabies, but also of understanding the complexity of maternal care and the bond with the baby within their Cambodian cultural and cosmological context.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
