| Summary, etc. | L’interprétariat en contexte médico-social et transculturel engage des enjeux cliniques dépassant la seule traduction linguistique. Il s’agit alors d’interroger la place du vécu personnel et du contre-transfert de l’interprète en tant qu’éléments constitutifs du processus de soin. Pour ce faire, est proposée l’analyse approfondie de l’imbrication du parcours de vie, du parcours de soin et du devenir professionnel d’une interprète-médiatrice ouest-africaine. Le métissage identitaire et l’élaboration des traumatismes personnels apparaissent comme des ressources mobilisées dans la pratique interprétative, notamment dans la médiation émotionnelle, culturelle et relationnelle. La reconnaissance du vécu subjectif de l’interprète favorise l’alliance thérapeutique tout en exposant à des risques de surcharge émotionnelle, nécessitant des dispositifs de soutien. Ainsi le vécu de l’interprète peut constituer un levier thérapeutique transculturel à part entière. |

| Summary, etc. | Interpreting in medical, social, and cross-cultural contexts involves clinical issues that go beyond linguistic translation. It is therefore necessary to examine the role of the interpreter’s personal experience and countertransference as integral elements of the care process. To this end, we propose an in-depth analysis of the intertwining of the life history, care history, and professional trajectory of a interpreter-mediator from West Africa. The blending of identities and the processing of personal trauma appear to be resources that are mobilized in interpreting practice, particularly in emotional, cultural, and relational mediation. Recognizing the interpreter’s subjective experience promotes therapeutic alliance while exposing them to the risk of emotional overload, requiring support mechanisms. Thus, the interpreter’s experience can constitute a transcultural therapeutic lever. |

| Summary, etc. | La interpretación lingüística en un contexto médico-social y transcultural plantea retos clínicos que van más allá de la mera traducción. Partiendo de esta premisa, intentamos cuestionar el lugar que ocupan la experiencia personal y la contratransferencia del intérprete como elementos constitutivos del proceso de atención en salud. Para ello, se propone un análisis en profundidad de la interrelación entre la trayectoria vital, la trayectoria asistencial y la evolución profesional de una intérprete-mediadora de África Occidental. La mezcla de identidades y la elaboración de traumas personales aparecen como recursos movilizados en la práctica interpretativa, especialmente en la mediación emocional, cultural y relacional. El reconocimiento de la experiencia subjetiva del intérprete favorece la alianza terapéutica, al tiempo que expone a riesgos de sobrecarga emocional, lo que requiere dispositivos de apoyo. Así, la experiencia del intérprete puede constituir una oportunidad terapéutica transcultural en sí misma. |
