| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | The article analyses the impact of artificial intelligence (ap) on democracy, public policy and social work. It highlights the challenges of ensuring the effective contribution of civil society organisations (CSOs) to the development of the legal frameworks that govern the democratic space. In social work, digitalisation and ai are transforming practices. International examples illustrate both the potential and the limits of these technologies, raising the question of the appropriate degree of automation in contexts where subjectivation and empathy are central. At the macro level, the rationality based on the massive exploitation of data and predictive modelling calls into question the design of fair public policies and their democratic legitimacy. Social work research faces similar challenges: the need for empirical data on the effects of ai and vigilance regarding cognitive biases, particularly the anchoring effect amplified by generative ai. In these three fields, the participation of CSOs and professionals, the strengthening of digital competences, and the alignment of technology with the values of social work and with the sustainable development goals are decisive in orienting ai towards the service of the common good, fundamental rights and social justice. |
