| Summary, etc. | Elective female fertility preservation is authorized in France since 2021,August. Oocyte cryopreservation to prevent age fertility declined can be performed from 29 to 37 years old and is reimbursed by social security. Mostly, women are single and wait for their career or for a partner to build their family. Its success rate depends on age and number of cryopreserved oocytes. Due to limited number of authorized centres, accessibility for women is poor in 2022. |

| Summary, etc. | depuis la loi de bioéthique d’août 2021, la préservation de la fertilité féminine non médicale est autorisée en France, et prise en charge par la sécurité sociale, entre le 29e et le 37e anniversaire. Son indication est de prévenir le déclin de la fertilité lié à l'âge, chez des femmes qui souhaitent attendre, pour des raisons professionnelles ou pour trouver le partenaire avec lequel fonder leur famille. Son efficacité dépend de l’âge et du nombre d’ovocytes conservés. En 2022, sa mise en œuvre peine à se mettre en route en raison d’un accès limité. |
