| Summary, etc. | RésuméMenée par une équipe pluridisciplinaire, cette étude analyse le recul progressif des temps d’audience au sein des procédures judiciaires et l’impact de cette suppression sur l’organisation de la justice et le respect des droits fondamentaux. Différentes méthodes d’enquête qualitatives et quantitatives ont été mobilisées pour évaluer la perception des justiciables et le positionnement des professionnels du droit (magistrats, greffiers, avocats) confrontés à ces évolutions. Les résultats montrent que si les audiences ne sont pas toujours indispensables sur le plan procédural, elles restent un marqueur fort du processus décisionnel et un élément central pour l’acceptabilité des décisions de justice. |

| Summary, etc. | SummaryConducted by a multidisciplinary team, this study analyses the progressive reduction in hearing time within judicial proceedings and the impact of this curtailment on the organisation of the justice system and the protection of fundamental rights. Various qualitative and quantitative research methods were employed to assess litigants’ perceptions and the positions adopted by legal professionals (judges, court clerks and lawyers) confronted with these developments. The findings show that, although hearings are not always procedurally indispensable, they remain a powerful marker of the decision-making process and a central factor in the acceptability of judicial decisions. |
