520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The article by Mich?le Jung-Rozenfarb is the object of a commentary on technique in the field of psychosomatics. The apparition of a somatic affection in the analyst during the cure raises basic questions concerning the meaning or non-meaning of somatic symptoms. One manner in which the analyst works through his or her own symptom permits discussion of the relationships between the erogenous body and thought, and the pinpointing of the role which can be specifically attributed to the dream in the elucidation of the symptom (worked-through by the dream). Referring to the topic of splitting (the third topic) enables the links between the sexual and the non-sexual to be situated, and to discuss how far the transference neurosis can be analyzed in the area of psychosomatics.
