520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The purpose of the present work is to investigate the recent knowledge generated in the design activities in the field of workspace planning. The first part focuses on the works related to the design activities (works of Lebahar, Hatchuel, and Visser, etc.). The second deals with the different theories relating to the generation of knowledge (works of Nonaka, Tsoukas, and Engeström, etc.). To answer our research question, we conducted long-term observations within two Parisian companies specializing in workspace planning (GENIE DES LIEUX and Workspace CBRE). In our study, we witnessed the emergence of intercomprehension difficulties during the design activities. As a result, we concluded that these obstacles were due to relational tacit knowledge (RTK) as defined by Harry Collins. However, these difficulties can be made explicit by means of intermediate objects. We also noticed that when designing the artifacts in two and three dimensions, this allows new and useful knowledge to be generated in a workspace planning project.
