| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | Patients with cancer are at high risk of severe infections due to disease- and treatment-related immunosuppression. Despite sometimes attenuated immune responses, vaccination reduces morbidity, hospitalisations, and treatment interruptions. However, vaccine coverage remains insufficient. These gaps are explained by a lack of information, the complexity of recommendations, and inadequate coordination between hospital-based and primary care services. Expanding vaccination competencies among community-based healthcare professionals, combined with structured vaccination consultations, targeted training, and shared digital tools, represents a key lever to sustainably strengthening vaccine prevention in this population. |
