520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The objective of this study is to identify the effect of internal governance mechanisms on the internationalization decisions decision of medium-sized enterprises in Cameroon. To achieve this, data were collected from a survey of 136 medium-sized enterprises located in the Littoral and Central regions between 2017 and 2020. Analysis of these data using Sargan tests, autocorrelation tests and generalized method of moments (GMM) regression revealed that the presence of independent external directors, board size, and dual board structure positively and significantly influence the international development of medium-sized enterprises in Cameroon. Conversely, capital concentration and the presence of institutional investors do not affect the international expansion decisions of the companies in the sample. These results corroborate those of Fredrich et al. (2022) and Bužavaitė and Korsakienė (2022), and confirm the contribution of board characteristics to the internationalization decision-making of companies in Cameroon JEL Codes : G30, G32, L25
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
