| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | This study explores the transformation of governance within the Tunisian industrial group Sotupa, focusing on the integration of corporate social responsibility (CSR) into its strategy. In the face of institutional challenges and the absence of a legislative framework such as that of "mission-driven companies" in Tunisia, Sotupa has voluntarily redefined its economic model by aligning its practices with societal values. This shift was accompanied by a break with its historical partner, Essity, and a strengthening of participatory governance. The research aims to redefine the company’s mission from the perspective of its employees, emphasizing family and community values to move beyond a traditional approach to CSR. Using qualitative methods, the study highlights how family values and employees’ strong sense of belonging have been crucial in navigating the complexities of the post-Essity period, reinforcing the idea that CSR can act as a stabilizing force during turbulent times. |
