520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This paper proposes a critical assessment of the action taken by the environmental police. In this regard, it appears that several recent reforms have demonstrated the government’s will to rationalize such action. However, in practice, these reforms have not produced the expected results in the sense that the fight against environmental crime is still characterized by its ineffectiveness. After establishing this alarming diagnosis, the author then proposes a remedy for it. He argues that in order to put an end to the low level of judicialization of environmental criminal litigation, it is necessary to strengthen the coordination of the various police services involved in this field.
