| Summary, etc. | Inclusive management is an important area of study for companies seeking diversity and gender-sensitive business models. However, research on inclusive management remains relatively weak compared to the development of knowledge in strategic management in general. Therefore, the objective of this article is to propose a theoretical and conceptual framework for a business model that is more conducive to respect for diversity in a company, thus ensuring its sustainable performance. This article presents a systematic review of the literature to synthesize research in this area. A rigorous process resulted in a final sample of seventy-seven documents published in academic journals between 1990 and 2020. The synthesis of these theoretical and empirical studies revealed that inclusive management is a real lever for sustainable business performance. The literature uses a narrow range of theoretical and conceptual perspectives in examining these two notions. It is therefore important that business leaders be able to better integrate inclusive management into their business strategy so that it truly contributes to improving the company’s sustainable performance. Given the paucity of work on the systematic review of the literature on inclusive management, this article sets the stage for a better understanding of the challenges to be met by theorists and practitioners in order to contribute, not only to the development of this field of research in terms of theory, content, and methodology, but also to making inclusive management a source of perpetual performance for the company. |
