| Summary, etc. | RésuméDans le contexte institutionnel de la cogestion par les pouvoirs publics et par le monde associatif de l'offre d'activités sportives au public, la forme commerciale de distribution de ces pratiques fait figure d'exception. L'analyse du cas des entreprises équestres proposée dans cet article permet de questionner en creux les ressorts d'un « service public du sport » en apesanteur économique et sociale ; de retracer la genèse de leur inscription dans un modèle entrepreneurial et d'en examiner quelques effets paradoxaux. |

The analysis of the case of equestrian companies, put forward in this article, allows us to implicitly question the mechanisms of a ‟public service for sport” disconnected from social and economic foundations. It allows us to retrace the genesis of their inscription in an entrepreneurial model and to examine some paradoxical effects of this. |
