| Summary, etc. | Un homme a l’idée couvrir sa maison de mosaïques faites de bouts d’assiettes brisées et inspirées par ses rêves nocturnes. Il y passe le reste de sa vie. Voici donc une suite de rêves s’étendant sur près de vingt années. Deux discours s’en dégagent : un discours manifeste : expression de l’intention consciente de l’artiste rêveur et, issu d’un travail d’interprétation, un discours latent où peuvent se lire plusieurs niveaux mythologiques. Le plus discret et le plus étonnant peut être appelé le mythe de l’assiette brisée. Il s’y exprime une angoisse universelle : celle du morcellement. De rêve-mosaïque en rêve-mosaïque, nous assistons à une tentative de guérison : celle par laquelle le morcelé cherche à se rassembler, le multiple à se réunifier. Un dénouement tragique sera l’aboutissement de cette aventure. De nombreux échos dans l’histoire des religions, dans l’histoire de l’art, comme en psychiatrie et en psychanalyse viennent souligner, indépendamment de son attrait esthétique, la singularité et l’importance de cette maison onirique. |

| Summary, etc. | The chinaware dreams of Picassiette A man, inspired by his nocturnal dreams, decides to cover his house with mosaics made out of broken pieces of china. He then spends the rest of his life doing so. Consequently, here we have twenty years of dreams. Two kinds of speeches emerge : one is manifest and expresses the conscious intention of the dreaming artist and, out of interpretation, another is latent and delivers different mythological levels. The most discreet and astonishing one could be called the myth of the broken plate. From mosaic dream to mosaic dream, we witness an attempt to heal in which, what is scattered, tries to regroup and, what is multiple, to unify back. This adventure will lead to a tragic ending. Numbers of echoes in the history of religions, art as well as psychiatry and psychoanalysis, underline the uniqueness and importance of this oneiric house. |
