| Summary, etc. | Les processus substitutifs à l’œuvre dans le rêve puisent dans le symbolisme de la culture et ouvrent la voie à une élaboration sur soi, ce qui en fait un outil de choix en ethnopsychiatrie, à condition de disposer d’un savoir anthropologique. Grâce à une méthodologie qui croise une enquête de terrain auprès des femmes d’un milieu rural et d’un sous-groupe berbère du Touat-Gourara (Sahara algérien) et de la région d’Angad, (nord-est du Maroc), une analyse de sources historiques, des lectures sur les usages du rêve dans la tradition musulmane, nous mettons en évidence que les femmes sont plus attentives à une activité onirique inscrite dans des pratiques de divination qui nous conduisent vers Le livre des songes d’Ibn Sirin. Les sources historiques consultées nous révèlent une convergence des conceptions du rêve en Islam, dans l’antiquité grecque et chez Freud, en raison de similitudes significatives aux niveaux symbolique et mythique. Nous en dégageons que le rêve donne suffisamment de latitude à l’ethnopsychanalyste pour glisser d’un modèle anthropologique, d’une tradition onirique vers une technique plus conforme à la conception freudienne. |

| Summary, etc. | Matrix of the interpretation and use of dreams in MaghrebThe substitutive processes inherent in dreaming draw on the specific culture’s symbolism and pave way for an elaboration of the self, thus making them one of the best tools within ethnopsychiatry, given that one disposes of a solid anthropological knowledge. We have used a methodology combining a survey of rural women belonging to the subgroup of Touat-Gourara Berber (Algerian Sahara) with another group of women from the Angad region (Northeastern Morocco), and the analysis of historical sources coupled with the interpretations of the uses of the dream in the Muslim tradition. We suggest that women are more attentive to dream activity listed in divination practices that are similar to the ones mentioned in Ibn Sirin’s The book of Dreams. Historical sources show a convergence of the signification of “dream” in Islam, ancient Greece and Freud’s work. The significant similarities that exist at the symbolic and mythical levels in all the three sources explain in large part this convergence.We argue that the dream gives the ethnopsychoanalyst enough room to move from an anthropological model and an oneiric tradition towards a technique that is closer to the Freudian conception. |

| Summary, etc. | Los procesos sustitutivos de los sueños se alimentan del simbolismo de la cultura y abren la vía a una elaboración sobre sí mismo, lo que convierte el sueño en una herramienta valiosa en etnopsiquiatría, siempre y cuando se disponga de un saber antropológico. Gracias a una metodología en la que se entrecruzan una investigación de terreno con mujeres de un medio rural y de un subgrupo berebere del Touat-Gourara (Sahara argelino) y de la región de Angad (noreste de Marruecos), un análisis de fuentes históricas, y de unas lecturas sobre los usos del sueño en la tradición musulmana, pondremos en evidencia que son sobre todo las mujeres quienes son sensibles a la actividad onírica inscrita en las prácticas de adivinación que nos conducen al Libro de los Sueños de Ibn Sirin. Las fuentes históricas consultadas nos revelan una convergencia de las concepciones del sueño en el Islam, en la Grecia antigua y en Freud, en razón de similitudes significativas a nivel simbólico y mítico. Llegamos a la conclusión de que el sueño ofrece suficiente espacio a la etnopsiquiatría para pasar de un modelo antropológico, de una tradición onírica hacia una técnica más conforme con la tradición freudiana. |
