Cet article développe, à partir de la notion de « mythe magico-sexuel» des rapprochements avec l’analyse des mythes et celle de leur place dans la psyché individuelle et dans les cultures telles que nous les proposent des anthropologues contemporains : Patrice Bidou, Jacques Galinier, Bernard Juillerat et Pierre Pacaud. Il souligne aussi la place que tient le mythe dans la clinique psychanalytique à partir de l’exemple d’un rêve analysé en fonction du mythe de Niobé. |

| Summary, etc. | Archaic Thought in Magico-Sexual Myths. Myths lie at the point of tension between the individual and society and can be approached from both the psychoanalytical and anthropological points of view. This article develops the notion of ‘magico-sexual myths’ and draws parallels between this and the analysis of myths and the role they play in the individual psyche and in the cultures studied by contemporary anthropologists : Patrice Bidou, Jacques Galinier, Bernard Juillerat and Pierre Pacaud. The importance of myths in clinical psychoanalysis is also examined, illustrated by an example from a dream analysed in connection with the myth of Niobe. |
