Summary, etc. | Narcissism is a concept whose complexity and potential for controversy are visible in both theory and the clinical setting. In the group setting, one can spot clinical conditions revealing the existence of an “in situ” group narcissism. Moreover, we have reason to admit the existence of a “group narcissism” as such, visible in the transgenerational dimension, which is symbolized in the group contrivance. Lastly, this paper posits the existence of an unconscious formation of an initial group thread, which is fundamentally narcissistic. |
