520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The article examines the question of partial forms, which constitutes an aspect of the late-medieval quarrel over the plurality of forms. First, it proposes to shed light on the emergence of this theory among Franciscan pluriformists. Then it analyzes the various reactions it brought about (until 1350). The study of the question shows that this theory accompanies a broad shift in the manner of conceiving of hylomorphic composition.
