Summary, etc. Introduction: Sexuality is a critical function for spinal cord injury patients to recover, yet the management of sexual dysfunction is poorly addressed in rehabilitation. The main objective of this multicentric cross-sectional study is to translate and validate the “Knowledge, Comfort, Approach, and Attitudes Towards Sexuality Scale” (KCAASS) questionnaire into French. This questionnaire assesses healthcare providers’ knowledge and skills regarding sexual dysfunction in spinal cord injury patients. Method: The KCAASS questionnaire was translated into French according to international guidelines. The questionnaire was distributed on two occasions, at an interval of three weeks, to doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists working in rehabilitation in French-speaking Belgium and Luxembourg via the REDCap tool. Results: The KCAASS questionnaire was completed on the first occasion by 131 participants (88.5 percent from Belgium and 11.5 percent from Luxembourg) and by thirty-four participants on the second occasion, taking place twenty-four days (±5 days) later. Psychometric analyses showed high internal consistency and excellent test-retest reliability for the “knowledge,” “comfort,” and “approach” sub-scales (Cronbach's α of 0.92, 0.97, and 0.86, respectively, and intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.84, 0.85, and 0.85, respectively). For the “attitude” sub-scale, internal consistency and test-retest reliability were moderate (Cronbach's α of 0.63 and intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.64). Conclusion: The French version of the KCAASS questionnaire proved to be reliable and can be used in clinical practice in the French-speaking world.
