Summary, etc. Post-traumatic carotid-jugular fistulae are rare. In this article, to shed greater light on the condition, we report a case using data from Doppler ultrasound and angiography. The patient is a twenty-two-year-old woman who was stabbed in the neck. The clinical examination revealed a latero-cervical swelling associated with a thrill. The Doppler ultrasound showed abnormal jugulo-carotid communication and an aneurysm, suggesting the presence of an arteriovenous fistula, which was confirmed by angiography.
